According to our sources, Ross and Jeezy exchanged words backstage and started pushing and shoving each other. We're told BET security and bodyguards for each of the rappers eventually separated the two
A rep for BET tells TMZ, "BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past 7 years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks does not condone any type of violence. Local authorities are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible."
ACTING OUT LIKE A CHILD BUT CLAIM TO BE A MAN:
ACTING OUT LIKE A CHILD BUT CLAIM TO BE A MAN:
If you can’t refrain from
picking in your nose while conducting an interview, then I’m sure in your case,
to be publicly correct in your statement, this was the venue to conduct your
type of business.
A real man knows how to control
himself, to know when to speak and when not too. Because there is a time and place for
everything, these are the values in which you try to teach your children. Unfortunately today real men are rare to come
by; there are no strong father figures to raise our seed. Why?
Because they are in jail or heading to one, gay or dead, or claiming to
be one but never was taught.
Where are our role models today
for our youth to pattern themselves after, for the image they see and hear from
the street to the TV leave nothing worth desiring, which is the same trap you
are singing about. But this is a
responsibility that you and your fellow brothers don’t want.
Yes, no one put their hands on
you because of the people that came between you and Ross, which was a blessing
you haven’t even realized.
When the words I’m sorry no
longer have meaning, there is no other words than can express our deepest
sorrow. Even the look upon your faces,
the guilt and shame that we harbor inside of our hearts can’t be seen. Isn’t it funny how words can always break,
but can never fix what has been broken; because we can always forgive like a
child, but we always remember like an adult.
Every morning before I venture
out I ask God to hold my loose tongue and let me not speak or act upon that
which I think. I have seen the power of
this prayer answered too many times to question it, because you never know who
you may need a favor from. The one that
you wronged my turn out to be the person you need. Other times it’s paid forward. So think and act like a real man would in
your shoes the next time you are invited where many blacks will never have the
opportunity too attend. Don’t represent your
hood, but represent us as a race. It is always better to be loved for doing
something than to be hated for doing nothing. For THINKING OUT LOUD, I’m E. L. PLEASANT
